Summary
Job Description

The Monroe Campus Learning Center (MCLC) located in Tannersville, PA is seeking applicants for a part-time (10-28 hours a week), professional level Statistics Tutor. The tutor will provide learning assistance to NCC students in one-on-one, small group, and other settings/formats. The tutor will collaborate with faculty and staff to improve student learning at NCC. Tutors will be provided College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) training and are expected to obtain certification within one year of employment. Continuous professional development is expected of all tutors. In addition, tutors are required to attend staff meetings, training sessions, and to complete additional responsibilities as assigned. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher and significant content knowledge of Introductory Statistics (MATH150). Excellent communication, empathy, and collaboration skills are also required.

Previous tutoring/teaching experience preferred. Significant content knowledge of Mathematics and Economics a plus.
